Services / Admissions
A foundation for a new beginning
The first knock on the door is the hardest part. From there, we take it one step at a time — together.
Assessment & admission
Each resident goes through an assessment and admission procedure. The programme offers a first and second stage, both of which run for 12 weeks. In special circumstances, our holistic approach lends itself to flexibility and can offer a 6-week programme. Resettlement packages are available depending upon funding.
Anyone can take the first step. Any person or agency may make the initial enquiry; once an application has been made, we will ask for a detailed referral form to be completed by any professional the potential Pathways participant may be involved with.
Accommodation
Pathways For All People supported housing offers participants their own bedroom, a communal kitchen, shared bathroom and lounge — a homely atmosphere in which residents prepare to re-integrate into the community with a sense of pride, dignity and personal achievement.
By encouraging personal development and treating everyone as an equal, we help residents gain confidence in their abilities and realise their own potential. We offer separate housing — and some therapeutic groups — for men and women. All participants keep their benefit payments and purchase their own food and toiletries.
Phone calls
Residents are welcome to keep their mobile phones; there are restrictions around using them, notably during group time when phones must be switched off.
Exercise
We encourage residents to join a local gym, meet regularly with health and fitness instructors, and take scenic walks. Pushbikes are offered on request.
Confidentiality
Residents' personal details are only available on a need-to-know basis to ensure continuity of care. A written consent contract explaining our confidentiality policy is signed on arrival.
