About / Aims

One goal: complete independence

No person's journey at Pathways is the same — so no two plans are either.

What we aim for

Pathways For All People aims

No person's journey at Pathways For All People is the same — the majority of residents are struggling with past traumas, a history of neglect, and abuse. Every resident is looked after with a bespoke recovery plan to build confidence, skills and value to the community, with the end goal of complete independence.

Our aim is to motivate each individual to overcome addictions and barriers, progressing towards and managing a fulfilled, constructive life.

For every individual, we design and implement an effective response: a structured plan tailored to their needs, with the aim of eliminating the craving for alcohol or drugs.

Within group settings we explore insight into addiction and triggers, the cycle of change and peer evaluations — while art therapy allows participants to use collage as a tangible tool to express thoughts and feelings that might otherwise be difficult to voice.

A Pathways For All People home

Our houses sit in quiet residential areas of Bournemouth — real homes, not institutions — where pride, dignity and personal achievement can take root.
